Let the Build-Up Begin

The center of my front wheel has arrived.  The White Industries Mi6 40-hole, disc brake ready hub.  This will be laced into a Salsa Gordo 26" rim, which is on the way in the mail.

And I already have the rear rim, also a Salsa Gordo but with 48 holes.  This should be a truly bomb-proof wheel set.  Will order the rear hub (also an Mi6) sometimes after Christmas.

Meanwhile, I've clicked 1800 miles on the Mity 8.  Progress continues.

The MS 150

150 miles yesterday and Saturday for MS.  To Daytona Beach and back.  Over 2000 people in attendance.  The legs felt great.  Finished the last five miles alone at 20mph.  Big confidence for the long ride 2014.
